OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY

Real Frequency Co. LLC ("RF," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every student and family we work with. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our website at realfrequency.com or engage with our college consulting services.

By accessing the Site or entering into a service agreement with Real Frequency, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use our services or Site.

The short version: We collect only what we need to serve you well. We do not sell your personal information. We use your contact details to run our program and communicate time-sensitive updates. You can opt out of text messages at any time.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information you provide directly to us when you use the Site, book a consultation, or engage our services. This may include:

Academic Information GPA, test scores, school name, extracurricular activities, future academic goals

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect solely for purposes related to our college consulting services, including to:

  • Deliver, manage, and improve our consulting services to your student.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and consultations.
  • Send deadline reminders, milestone alerts, and program updates.
  • Process payments and manage billing.
  • Communicate important announcements about your program or services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Agreement.
  • Maintain records of academic guidance and application support provided.

We will not use your information for purposes unrelated to our consulting services without your explicit consent.

04 — Data Sharing

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Real Frequency does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating our business (e.g., payment processors, scheduling platforms, communication tools), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Text Message Providers: Aggregators and providers of our SMS/text messaging services, solely to facilitate delivery of those communications.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit written consent.
Note on Student Data: Student information is treated with the highest level of confidentiality in accordance with our HECA ethics standards. Confidential student information is never shared with other clients or third parties without written consent.
05 — Text Message Communications

SMS & TEXT COMMUNICATIONS

By entering into an agreement with Real Frequency, the Client consents to receive communications via text message and other electronic means at the mobile number(s) provided.

Real Frequency may send the following types of text messages:

Transactional / Service-Related: Appointment reminders, deadline alerts, meeting notices, and program updates.

Promotional: Occasional relevant content regarding our services.

Standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile service provider. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

OPT OUT

To stop receiving text messages at any time, reply "OPT-OUT" to any Real Frequency text message, or contact us directly to request removal. We will promptly comply with all opt-out requests. Please note: opting out of text messages may affect your ability to receive time-sensitive updates (e.g., last-minute meeting changes or deadline reminders). We will continue to provide information via email and the Real Frequency portal, but you will be responsible for keeping up with those communications.

06 — Data Security

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our platform is hosted in the United States of America.

If you access the Site from any other region of the world with laws governing personal data collection, use, or disclosure that differ from applicable US laws, then through your continued use of the Site, you are transferring your data to the United States and agree to have it processed here.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a unique password for your RF portal account and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

07 — Children's Privacy

CHILDREN UNDER 13

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. In accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

If we receive actual knowledge that anyone under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us without the requisite and verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from the Site as quickly as is reasonably practical.

All users who are minors (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the Site and our services.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
