True Expertise Requires an
A - TEAM

If done right, there is NO WAY a single consultant can provide the depth and breadth that effective mindset, college, and career consulting demands.

The Real Frequency Team - helping our clients with better mental performance, a stronger understanding of their natural strengths, colleges that fit, and careers that align.

My Real Frequency is on fire when I am behind a boat waterskiing or listening to music that speaks to my spirit. The whole world washes away. There is nothing a human with determination and help can’t achieve. It takes vulnerability and self-awareness - 2 things I constantly work on. The RF Team jumps with me... especially when I worry about the fall. And WE will jump with you.

As an educator, consultant and tutor, my cup is filled when I am helping students achieve happiness and success. I believe this can propel students into a multitude of amazing experiences! Through my academic career, I have learned that plans often…don’t go according to plan. And that’s ok! My goal is to build meaningful relationships, inspire confidence and pride, and empower students’ love for lifelong learning–in and out of the classroom.

I am a Northwest native whose Real Frequency can be found in the mountains and rivers of Montana. I love kayaking, swimming, hiking, camping, and birdwatching! I am energized when sharing my love for the outdoors with my students, family, and canine soulmate, Ty.

My Purpose: I set picks, so others can make plays.

This means that I work to help people succeed. This is where I find my Real Frequency and why I love doing what I do.

My advice is to take it easy, because things work out. I like to think that my varied and somewhat odd career path is a testament to a "why not?" approach, and the personal satisfaction that taking chances can bring.

My Purpose: "I clear the playing field, so others can swing for the fences."

Where my purpose comes from: I played baseball in high school and my family and I lived three blocks from the field. Two hours before every game, my mom would hop on her riding mower and ride the three blocks to our field. She’d cut the infield grass nice and tight and help us remove any stones or rocks we found. When finished, she’d hop back on and ride home.

She understood a fundamental leadership quality…removing obstacles allows others to use their natural talents and strengths to excel. I learned that lesson watching her cut our infield grass and have applied it throughout my career.

My passion is mental conditioning. As a former 2-sport division-I student-athlete, I have learned a lot (through mistakes and successes) about the importance of positive mindset. I left my corporate role as a number one ranked medical sales professional and national sales trainer to coach people in all walks of life on the importance of mental toughness.

Through my work, I have the privilege of working with some of the world’s best organizations including: Nike, Zillow, Los Angeles Dodgers, Lululemon, Microsoft, Salesforce, Anaheim Ducks, Alaska Airlines, FedEx, and Amazon.

I love tinkering with systems and challenging the status quo, and I’m setting my sights on the college process after years as a school counselor. I wrote Choose the Perfect College to give students and parents sanity during the college selection and decision process, and Hire Education is a “how-to-think” book that challenges our approach to applying to and paying for college.

My family and I recently moved to suburban Denver, and we enjoy weekend hikes (lovingly referred to as “forced family fun”), doing something creative, and spending time with friends from church and our neighborhood. I can’t wait to work on the next idea that helps us do our jobs better at Real Frequency!

Whether immersing myself in a new culture, volunteering in my community, or introducing my children to something new, I feel most inspired when exploring. Approaching life as a journey meant to be explored has allowed me to discover paths that have challenged me and often pushed me out of my comfort zone. It is in those moments though that new friendships, new opportunities, and a new perspective can arise. In working with young adults who are beginning their journey, my Real Frequency for exploration is engaged to ensure they feel confident and excited about the future ahead.

Being from the Northwest, I learned the power of yes. Yes to trying new things, new places, and new adventures like earning a motorcycle license, backpacking through Europe alone, and hitting a 180 bowling average! While I love to be out in a crowd, trying new ventures, I also have a deep-seated love for my favorite homebody activities: reading and writing. There is nothing cozier than spending a drizzling rainy day in autumn as one dives into an ink-stained world.

Effective Delivery Requires a
COORDINATED ATTACK

To deliver our services the right way, we work to strike a balance between one-on-one work done between the client and the consultant, one-on-work done between the client and our subject matter experts.

In this model, the primary consultant will “hand-off” the client to other Real Frequency professional depending on where the client is in the process, and what their needs are at that point in time.
